Our Mission: To search, identify and communicate information to a consumer for the benefit of eliminating identity theft risk. If while using our identity protection service an identity theft occurs, we will help our consumer with restoring their identity.

What information do we collect when you visit our Website or order our products and services, and how do we use it?

What security measures are in place to protect my information?

The Web site utilizes framing techniques to make it appear that the user is still on the site when the user is actually on a third party Web site for some of our products.

We use widgets on the Identity Shield Company Blog. Widgets support functions that require that you disclose certain PII given your choice of participation. This information is collected in many different ways such as emailing blog articles of interest to your friends, and posting them onto your social networking profile page (e.g., MySpace, Facebook). This information is only used for the purpose in which it is collected. These widgets utilize an import contacts feature to help you send a one-time email to your friend about a particular article on our blog. We make it easy for you to invite people from your email address books to join you on our Site. When you click on "share this", "import contacts" we will search your email address book to help you import your contacts to our site. You can then select who to send the particular article to. The article will come from the email you choose to enter.

Testimonials

You may choose to share your success story with others who visit the Website by providing your information via our Customer Service Online Request form - located at www.USIdentityShield.com. We take reasonable steps to remove any PII before posting it to the Website. For example, we only use initials rather than full names to respect your privacy. However, you should be aware that any PII you submit there may be read, collected, or used by others who visit that section of the Website.

Tell-A-Friend

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site from a promotional email, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. The website only sends this automatic email and does not save the email address for other purposes.
